Lea Lee, head of global communications at LG Electronics, was recognized for outstanding individual achievement at the 2026 Asia-Pacific Sabre Awards, after leading the company’s communications work around its India initial public offering and an artificial intelligence-based media system.
The award, presented by PRovoke Media in Singapore, honored Lee’s work overseeing LG Electronics’ global communications strategy, including executive positioning, corporate transactions and media analysis.
One of the projects highlighted this year was Prism AI, an in-house communications intelligence platform developed with LG Electronics’ AX Center, which handles AI transformation.
The system uses large language models and deep learning to analyze media coverage across some 200 markets and 30 brands, tracking millions of news articles and turning the data into metrics and reports for communications teams and management.
Prism AI separately won an award for best AI tool or product at the 2026 IN2 Sabre Awards Asia-Pacific and was named a finalist in the category for consumer electronics & telecommunications.
Lee said the award reflected not only individual efforts, but also opportunities created by LG Electronics’ broader push into AI transformation and major overseas projects.
"I have been fortunate to be part of transformative milestones such as LG Electronics’ India IPO and the company’s AI transformation journey, supported by outstanding teams both inside and outside the organization," Lee said.
"While this award recognizes individual achievement, I view it as a testament to LG Electronics’ commitment to authentic and meaningful communication on the global stage. I am deeply grateful to everyone who contributed to that journey."
Lee’s team handled global communications for the IPO of LG Electronics India, managing messaging around the listing and the subsidiary’s role as a key manufacturing and export base.
Before joining LG Electronics, Lee worked at Edelman Korea and Hill & Knowlton, where she handled corporate reputation and communications for multinational clients.
