Motorola has already confirmed that the Edge 70 Neo is coming to India soon, although the company is yet to reveal its exact launch date or official specifications. Now, a new Geekbench listing has offered an early look at the possible hardware powering the upcoming Edge series smartphone.

The listing also suggests that the Motorola Edge 70 Neo could share several similarities with the Motorola Edge 70 Plus, raising speculation that the Indian model may arrive as a rebranded version of the handset.

Motorola Edge 70 Neo Geekbench Scores and Chipset

The Motorola Edge 70 Neo was spotted on Geekbench 7.0.0 for Android AArch64, where it scored 723 points in the single-core test and 2,943 points in the multi-core test.

According to the listing, the handset is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm chipset carrying the SM763 model number, which is associated with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor.

Interestingly, the global Motorola Edge 70 Plus also runs on the same Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. Based on Motorola's previous Edge series launch strategy, the Edge 70 Neo could potentially be a rebadged or closely related version of the Edge 70 Plus for the Indian market.

Motorola Edge 70 Neo: Expected Design and Specifications

Previous leaks suggest the Edge 70 Neo could feature a flat display with slim bezels and a centred hole-punch cutout. The smartphone is expected to launch in multiple colour options, including dark green, light blue, olive green and pale pink.

On the camera front, the Edge 70 Neo is rumoured to feature a triple-camera setup led by a 200MP primary sensor. However, Motorola is yet to officially confirm these details.

If the Edge 70 Neo could feature a 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. The phone could also offer a 200MP main camera, a 32MP selfie camera, up to 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB storage. Other expected highlights include a 6,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging and bypass charging support.

Motorola is expected to reveal more details about the Edge 70 Neo, including its launch date and pricing, in the coming days.
