Samsung Electronics today announced that its updated Sleep Apnea feature[1](#fe315b41-51ec-4236-abaa-daa2a1883105) is now available on Galaxy Watch and Ring.[2](#2322e6f7-1ada-4775-8822-c431479d5468) Following United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance in July, the updated feature has also received approval from Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS). With this update, Samsung becomes the first company in the world to bring sleep apnea risk detection on a smart ring.
